About Thomas

An award-nominated director, script editor and dramaturg born and bred in Manchester. I specialise in bringing new writing to life to stage or screen. I have script edited feature films and stage musicals. I am passionate about adapting classic stories to connect with modern audiences in this new era of tight budgets. I am particularly interested in the English canon, large-cast stories, and modern myths and fairytales.

Recent work includes the award-nominated 14-minute short film BREATHE TRUTH, starring Dominic Chianese (The Sopranos, The Godfather II).

BREATHE TRUTH is a comedy about a Hollywood actor whose lifelong dream to perform Shakespeare goes awry when an unexpected request from his director faces him with a difficult choice. The short has already been Nominated for two film awards.
